Here in this digital portrait of a young African, experimenting with textures in the background and within the portrait itself.

The challenges that I faced was how to get the balance of not making the texture overpower the image.

The use of large flowing brush strokes adds to the whole texture of the image.

The hot background helps the image to pop and can be used in any advertising or as an art piece for the home.
